Making Space - city walks
!Welcome to a special event through April to June 2007, where the ARI's , or otherwise known as Artist Run Initiatives of Victoria will open their doors for an original, and inspiring view into the world of contemporary art in and around Melbourne.

This is art that’s not just two dimensional, but often an experience, as much as something to view, where each of these spaces present a simultaneous program of exhibitions, forums, performances and workshops designed to celebrate the diversity of this network.

Join our late afternoon walks to see and experience more, with some inside info, as many will never find many of them with out a helping hand.. Over 2 hours, we will visit several of them and have time to chat with some of the curators, which may well be needed, and conclude with a glass of wine to continue sharing the inspiration.  You will also receive a goodie bag, event specific documentation, maps and special offers.

Making Space has been developed collaboratively by the Victoria Initiatives of Artists Network and was initiated by the Australia Council and Arts Victoria.

TIME:             4pm – 6pm
DAYS:           Thursdays and Fridays
                      Only between April 19, and June 15th
MEET:           to be confirmed at time of booking, but in the city area
COST:           $40.00 per person
CAPACITY:   Minimum 4, Maximum 12 people per tour
